Mali Klein is a member of the Society of Authors, UK and widow of Greg
Klein, Vietnam veteran and Buddhist monk, 1946 -1994. Her first autobiographical
work, ‘A Future Beyond the Sun’,1997 was followed by ‘Essiac
Essentials’,1999 and ‘Essiac, The Secrets of Rene Caisse’s
Herbal Pharmacy’, 2001, both co-authored with Sheila Snow (Canada).
Since Sheila’s retirement Mali Klein has continued the archive research
to produce ‘The Essiac Book’, 2006, the third and final work
in the Snow&Klein ‘Essiac’ series. Mali is currently working
on an extended fiction project.
Mali Klein has worked continuously with Rene Caisse’s Essiac therapy
since 1993 when her husband was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour
as a result of his being wounded in action while serving with the US Marine
Corps in 1967. She conducts her research into the remedy from her mountain
retreat in Europe where Sheep sorrel grows freely and her experimental
garden flourishes in a high altitude, clean air environment. She began
working with Sheila Snow in 1996. Sheila knew and worked with Rene Caisse
from 1974 to 1977 and spent twenty-seven years of her life assembling
an impressive collection of Essiac archive material including direct and
exclusive input from Rene Caisse herself. Mali Klein is now the Custodian
of The Sheila Snow Fraser Essiac Archive Collection.
Mali Klein is a source of archive research and information only. She
does not recommend any one ‘Essiac’ type product above another.
It is her intention to publish all six of Rene Caisse’s surviving
case history books on this website by the end of 2007.
